| Do u like Kenny G Music? | | Hello Friends, Kenny G was in Bombay few weeks back for a concert. I like his music a lot. I always like to hear differant musical instruments and he is a tremendous saxophonist.Some info about Kenny G: Kenny was born in Seattle, Washington, and first came into contact with a saxophone when he heard someone performing with one on The Ed Sullivan Show. He learned how to play under the direction of local trumpeter Gerald Pfister and by practicing along with records (mostly of Grover Washington, Jr.), trying to emulate the sounds that he was hearing. At Franklin High School he failed to get into the jazz band when he applied, although was accepted the following year when he tried again. He also played for his high school golf team, a sport which he had loved ever since his older brother, Brian Gorelick, introduced it to him when he was ten years old.. Brian Gorelick is currently a music professor and choir conductor at Wake Forest University.Cheers,

I appreciate Kenny Rogers music when I was still a young professional. I like his cool, husky voice best suited for a country/western singer. I like some of his hits like the song "Coward of the Country" which he sung very nicely, the song "Lady" is passionately done, "Through The Years" makes me fall in love with love.
I also appreciate so much the songs he sung in duets.The the song "Islands In the Streams,which he sung in duet with Dolly Parton is just great. "We've Got Tonight", the song he sung in duet with Sheena Easton is passionately done oozing with so much feelings and emotions. It captured my heart exactly.Kenny Rogers can be considered an all time favoriteof an American audience, with five decades of musical career, he has indeed touched three generations with his golden hits. He has indeed made a significant contribution to the American pop music industry. How about you? Do you like Kenny Rogers? | |
